“ Médiamorphose” : creation 2007
- A video performance, dance, multimedia.

The performance “Médiamorphose” is a metaphor of the flight, a dialogue between nature and culture. This creation is the ground of research and reflection on the link which can exist between a mature feminine character and her aim of freedom.

The way she approaches the nature is deep and respectful. Her meeting with elements is as a tribute, a thanking in the creation. Her relationship with the natural environment passes spontaneously by an instinctive and impulsive identification in the animal. She interiorizes and expresses physically what she feels. She passes ceaselessly by transitions betwen the woman she is and various behavior of animals. It is in full consciousness that she acts, she is in a personal in itiative to feel living, getting fresh ideas, finding first, intense sensations. It allows her to strengthen the intuitive researches.

The chrysalis is a metaphor of the life intra - mothered.
Butterfly hears voices outside, in a inevitable way, slides towards the collar and as of an organic dilation extracts of its former environment to express the elasticity of a wet skin.
The continuous movements without break become a fight against the gravity she falls, abandoned on the ground without strength to discover the laws of the earth.

It is for Butterfly, her, first contact with the gravity. She looses her balance because her skeleton is not strengthened yet. She fights ceaselessly to arrive at the stability.

The space which surrounds her amuses her. She modulates the space as a material which between the hands becomes form. Only in a space of nearness, limited and circular. This play strengthens and encourage her to open the circle to approach the infinite space.

Butterfly try to fly and to master the gravity, it lasts only a few moments until her a mature body feels heavy.

The nature of dance its short-lived nature is the art of the space. Its lasts only one moment and vibrates through the body with its various tensions. When the dance is in its summit, it leaves the mental to join the alive, the mineral, the vegetable, the animal and the human being.
The body is the motor, the form is the support and the sensibility, the comment.
The face is opened as a reflection of the internal sensibility.
Butterfly is not a person.

It is the idea of a man realized through a woman.
